  1. I thought all Hyundai’s ALREADY came with a 10 Year / 100,000 Mile warranty?
    1. Hyundai provides you with a 10 Year / 100,000 Mile POWERTRAIN only warranty which is approximately 17% of all repairs. The other 83% of all repairs is only covered for the first 5 Years / 60,000 Miles from Hyundai excluding your radio/navigation, and external amplifier which is only covered for the first 3 Years / 36,000 miles. Elyria Hyundai has now taken that same coverage to 10 Years / 100,000 Miles providing you with a Worry-Free ownership! 
  1. Do I have to perform all of my vehicle maintenance at Elyria Hyundai?
    1. No, you are not required to. You are free to maintain your vehicle anywhere you choose so long as it is maintained according to the maintenance schedule. You can choose either every 3,750 or 7,500 mile intervals based on your driving. We do, however, value your service business!
  1. What happens if I have a breakdown or something fails and I am not able to make it to Elyria Hyundai?
    1. We always recommend that you return to Elyria Hyundai for your maintenance and service repairs, however, your coverage is in effect at any ASE repair facility in the U.S. 
  1. Do I have to pay for any repairs out of pocket and then wait to be reimbursed?
    1. No! Your warranty will pay the repair bill right over the phone!
  1. Does this warranty also extend my roadside assistance provided by Hyundai for the 1st 5 years?
    1. Yes! The Warranty provided by Elyria Hyundai on your new Hyundai is now covered for the next 10 Years with Unlimited Roadside Assistance! If you run out of gas, lock your keys in the car, need a tow, or a jumpstart…We’ve got you covered!
  1. What happens if Elyria Hyundai stops operating for any reason?
    1. Nothing! Your warranty is good at any ASE repair facility in the U.S.! 
  1. Is this warranty transferable if I sell my car?
    1. Yes! There is a $50 transfer fee to the 2nd owner.

Hyundai is already known for having America's Best Warranty. At Elyria Hyundai, we took America's Best Warranty (tm) and made it better. Every new vehicle we sell is covered by a 10-year / 100,000-mile comprehensive warranty when you buy your vehicle at Elyria Hyundai.
 
Our comprehensive warranty is an exclusionary warranty. That means there is no tricky list that looks impressive but misses key items that are prone to failure. Where Hyundai's warranty ends, our warranty picks up the slack.
 
The following items are not covered: manual clutch assembly; glow plugs; brake pads, shoes, rotors and drums; wiper blades, wiper arms; all batteries and battery cables; air filters, oil filter, coolants and fluids if not in connection with a covered repair; spark plugs and spark plug wires; EGR valve; drive belts; rubber hoses; exhaust pipes, catalytic converters, mufflers and resonators; shock absorbers; tires and wheels; sealed beam headlamps, light bulbs and lenses; non-factory-installed audio systems; plasma televisions; car phones; cellular, satellite or microwave communication devices; bright metal parts; rubber moldings and weather strips; metal, glass or plastic trim; upholstery and carpet; ash trays; cup holders; any other non-factory-installed parts; convertible top, frame and mechanism; sunroof track and mechanism; safety restraint systems (seat belts and air bags, except steering wheel) or part thereof
 
Our comprehensive warranty also excludes parts covered under manufacturer's warranty, special policy or recall. It excludes parts listed in the Conversion Truck / Van package, Mobility Van Coverage or Hybrid Electric Vehicle Package unless elected on Your Declaration Page.
